Bible In A Year
Starting January 1, 2026
Immacolata’s Bible In A Year
During the 2026 calendar year, we’d like as many parishioners as possible to join us in reading and praying through the entire Bible, guided by the Hallow App and the popular podcast by Fr. Mike Schmitz.
In 365 days, you will not only get to read the entire Catholic Bible, cover to cover, but you’ll actually understand how it all fits together and pray through the whole thing. Bible in a Year only takes about 20 to 25 minutes a day, and it is perfect for your commute to work, your afternoon walk, or while you're doing dishes at night.
You can access the podcast and follow along for free, or choose to subscribe to a Hallow membership for even more Catholic content.

On the website, when you are offered the 30 day free trial, simply close the tab. The next time you visit hallow.com in a new tab, you’ll have free access to Bible and any other free content on Hallow.
Once you have an account, search for “Bible in a Year”, and add it to your favorites or set up a daily routine. Then you’re all set.

No, but we encourage it. Having an accountability buddy or joining a small group will help to encourage you and keep you on track.
Discussing more often than once a moth will only make the experience better. We recommend trying to invite someone who doesn’t regularly come to Mass.
If you’re interested in joining a group, but don’t know how to get started, we can help with that.

That’s fine. It’s a lot to ask for a 365 day commitment. Just do your best to make up the day when you can. The most important thing is that you keep going.
No one will be grading you, the goal is participation over perfection.

No, it’s never too late. You can either jump in where we are, and go back and finish what you missed later, or start from the beginning now. Both are great options.
If you’re starting later, we would recommend finding someone do it with you on the same timeline so you can process your experience with another person in the same spot.
