Ministry of Charity

The Immacolata Catholic Church is committed to fulfilling Christ’s command to serve people in need; the Parish believes that the exercise of Christian charity is truly a ministry of love that brings people to Jesus Christ.

"Amen I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me." (Matthew 26:40)

"You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind....You shall love your neighbor as yourself." (Matthew 22:37 - 40)

"The Church's deepest nature is expressed in her three-fold responsibility: of proclaiming the word of God, celebrating the sacraments, and exercising the ministry of charity." (God is Love, #25, Benedict XVI)

The charitable works of the parish are extensive. We encourage you to look at the many opportunities listed below and see if you are able to participate in "ministry of charity."
